A floating window parks under your camera, with hover controls, a see-through background and resize, so your eyes stay on the lens.
Big cover, source badge, live equalizer and controls for Spotify, Music or YouTube. Time-synced lyrics are one tap away.
A strip of cards with the app icon, age and a preview. Search and filter on one row, pin what matters, skip password managers, and ⌥-click to delete a clip.
Reorder tabs, hide what you don’t use, and keep the panel the way you like it.
Press ⌃⌥Space (or set your own) and the panel drops down. Hover or click works too, and the pin keeps it open.
Drag to reorder tabs and pick the collapsed-notch style. The panel follows your saved order.
Small, Regular or Large on each screen, with a picture of your displays in Settings. Clicks outside the visible panel pass straight through.
Run your macOS Shortcuts from the panel without switching apps.
The panel is built only while it’s open, and a quiet notch stops redrawing.

Open PeakPad and paste your key in the welcome panel. It checks once a day and keeps working offline for 30 days. Need help?
The notch is the camera cut-out at the top of newer MacBook screens. A notch app turns that space into something useful: controls, shortcuts and info that drop down when you need them.
Yes. On any Mac or external display PeakPad draws its own notch at the top of the screen.
Either. Choose in Settings, and pin the panel with the pin button to keep it open.
macOS Sonoma (14.6) or later on Apple silicon and Intel. Ask Peak needs macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence; on older systems that tab isn’t shown.
Control-click PeakPad in Applications, choose Open, then confirm. Or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway”.
The first time you open PeakPad, the welcome panel asks for your licence key. Paste it and press Activate. PeakPad checks the key once a day and keeps working offline for up to 30 days if it can’t reach the server.
Yes. Each key can be active on a limited number of Macs. To move it, open Settings, choose “Deactivate this Mac”, then activate on the new one.
No. It’s one payment for a lifetime license, including future updates.
Claude Code and Codex, read from the logs already on your Mac. Cursor, Copilot and Grok keep usage on their own servers, so PeakPad can’t show them without you signing in to those services.
A private chat that runs on Apple’s on-device models. Rewrite, summarize or ask anything, and nothing you type leaves your Mac. It needs macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence.
None. Your clipboard, notes and files stay on your Mac, and Ask Peak runs on-device. Revenue and analytics tools talk directly to the services you connect.
Each tool asks the first time you use it: Calendar for the agenda, Screen Recording for Capture, Camera for Mirror.
Yes. In Settings → Tools you can reorder tabs by drag or arrows, hide any of them, and reset to the defaults.
